FMS Offer New Taster Day Leadership & Management Training Course

FMS is launching a new one-day taster day course in Autumn 2011

This course will preview a full 10-day leadership and management course in 2012, and will give Music Service Teachers; Area Heads; Centre Leaders; Heads of Service or Anyone with a Team to Manage an opportunity to:

1. Understand more about the aspects of leadership and management which are a part of their work
2. Gain an in-depth look at issues facing everyone involved in running a music service
3. Explore the key elements of the full accredited training programme.

   Following the success of the previous four “Rising with the Tide” Leadership & Management courses, the 10 day extended programme seeks to enhance leadership capabilities across music services, organisations and providers of music tuition across the UK by engaging individuals in a series of innovative development sessions.

   The Taster Day will be held in the following locations on the specified dates. The course fee is £75 plus VAT.

   Tuesday 1st November	London	RIBA, 66 Portland Place, W1B 1AD
   Friday 4th November	Newport	Gwent Music Service, NP2 0NS
   Friday 2nd December	Birmingham	Conference Aston, B4 7ET
