Promotions Executive (Professional Development)

Music Service or organisation: ABRSM

Closing date for applications: Thursday 23rd June

Promotions Executive (Professional Development)
Marketing Department

Scale 4 (£24,164 - £27,535 per annum)

ABRSM supports and encourages music learning throughout the world. We motivate musical achievement through our authoritative assessments, training courses for teachers, and a wide range of published resources.

We are recruiting a Promotions Executive (Professional Development) to join the Promotions team within our Marketing Department, to assist in the promotion of ABRSM’s products and services. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of promotional campaigns to support sign-up to our professional development events, courses and online content worldwide.
With solid experience in developing promotional resources from concept to delivery, you will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to plan promotions against defined objectives and write promotional text. You will have experience of working with visual designers, and a keen eye for detail.

Your ability to perform under pressure is crucial to this role – at any point in time there will be a large number of courses, seminars and events that you will be recruiting for. You will therefore need to demonstrate an ability to effectively prioritise your workload and manage conflicting priorities. Understanding of the needs of instrumental teachers is also essential, which you may have gained from experience as a teacher or in an administration role in a local authority music service.

In return we can offer the chance to be part of a committed team, in a friendly and supportive environment, with benefits such as an interest-free season ticket loan and a contributory pension scheme.
