Instrumental Teacher – Woodwind with Flute specialism: Full Time post- job share considered)

Based at Aylesbury Music Centre

We wish to appoint an ambitious and dynamic teacher (or teachers through a job-share) who has a passion for developing the musical talents of young people in Woodwind, and flute in particular, in our schools in the Aylesbury Vale area of the county. You will be required to teach in local Primary and Secondary schools, in small groups and individually, covering a wide ability range including gifted and talented students. An ability or wish to offer some Whole Class teaching - “First access” or Wider Opportunities programmes in Key Stage 2 - will be an advantage, as will be interest and experience in Ensemble direction. Applicants should have a broad working knowledge of Woodwind teaching in general, applicable to KS2 and early KS3 teaching, together with a specialism in Flute.

Salary: Qualified Teachers’ MPS or Unqualified Teachers’ Scale

Instrumental Teachers of Upper Strings (2 Full Time posts – job share considered)

Based at Amersham and High Wycombe Music Centres

We wish to appoint ambitious and dynamic teachers who have a passion for developing the musical talents of young people in String playing, in our schools in the south of the county. You will be required to teach in local Primary and Secondary schools, in small groups and individually, covering a wide ability range including gifted and talented students. An ability or wish to offer some Whole Class teaching – “First access” or Wider Opportunities programmes in Key Stage 2) will be an advantage, as will interest and experience in Ensemble direction. Applicants with a working knowledge of Lower String teaching at an elementary level should indicate this in their application.

Music Tutors - Sefton Music Service Database

Instrumental and Vocal Tutors are required for September 2011.
We are seeking specialist tutors of Brass, Strings, Percussion, Woodwind, Vocal and Curriculum Support (KS 1 + 2).

Energetic, enthusiastic and highly skilled Music Tutors are required to join the newly created Sefton Music Tutors Database. The purpose of the data base is to provide a list of expert tutors to provide music tuition to children in Sefton Schools on a self employed basis.
The ability to deliver high quality tuition is essential and successful tutors will have proven standards of excellent delivery, achievement and musicianship and will be able to communicate well with customers.
